Since our partner in open and online education launched in 2012, its mission – similar to our goals at the Extension School – has not changed: to increase access to high-quality education for everyone, everywhere; to enhance teaching and learning on campus and online; and to advance teaching and learning through research. However, the edX platform, products, and partners have evolved over time and therefore the edX’s look is being updated to better express what it uniquely stands for and to make it easier for learners to discover what they need to unlock their potential.
The redesigned logo and website will be launched on 15 December. Stay tuned for the new logo to automatically appear on all course and program pages hosted on edX. The learner experience is not going to change, other than seeing a new edX logo. Their login credentials will still stay the same and any courses in progress or completed will still be visible. Any verified courses and any new certificates will contain the new logo.
