About the HUB model:
The goal of the Online Learning HUB is to support and facilitate TU Delft instructors who would like to develop online courses. In addition to this, the HUB can be used by anyone outside TU Delft involved in online course development.
TU Delft lecturers who are interested in creating a new online course or program can apply for support at the Learning for Life Centre (LfLC) via a tender procedure.
Our teachers need to be able to acquire information, share, discuss and connect to new concepts and strategies that relate to their own unique situation, experiences and needs. The Online Learning HUB, which draws on our day-to-day course development and teaching experiences, is regularly updated to reflect the LflC’s approach.
The content is organized in line with the workflow of a standardized online course design process (Plan – Produce – Run – Evaluate), in accordance with our quality standards for the design of online learning.
The model and content is available (CC-BY 4.0) for other institutions to create their own resources or HUB.
The Online Learning HUB is an initiative of the TU Delft Learning for Life Centre in collaboration with the Systems Engineering Department (Faculty TPM). Founders were Nelson Ribeiro Jorge, Linda Mebus and Pieter de Vries. It is maintained by TU Delft Learning for Life Centre, the support organization for all TU Delft Online Learning courses.
